Please refer to my full CV for further details but briefly:
I am a Clinician Scientist and Principal Investigator at Imperial College London. I have carried out medical translational research into childhood illnesses such as meningitis and septicaemia, bronchiolitis, asthma and sleep apnoea. My current research focus is on diagnosis and monitoring of sleep disordered breathing in children using the "Sonomat" a novel device that uses stethoscope-like sensors embedded in a mattress to record breathing sounds and movements without attaching anything to the patient. My aim is to be able to carry out diagnostic sleep studies in the home environment.
